Nationalledger.com: Ah the magic of Mardis Gras. Pop tart Britney Spears is out of Hawaii and has made her way to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and she has a surprise date - hubby Kevin Federline.
The married couple had been separated by the Pacific Ocean as Brit had been vacationing in Hawaii without K-Fed while he hung out in California trying to say out of trouble.
It hasn't gone well, as he's been snapped with a mysterious French blonde and accused of flirting with Jessica Simpson.
But now Britney and Kevin are together in New Orleans.
Oh those hideous corn rows Kevin was spotted with in Malibu earlier are now gone. But Brit is in the Big easy, and Kevin has joined her in a show of solidarity to help raise awareness that the region still need help after the absolute devastation fro Hurricane Katrina.
She will appear on ABC's 'Good Morning America' today on Fat Tuesday (prepare yourself Brit fans, she doesn't look good) to generate a buzz for the wild day and of course the region in general.

Nationalledger.com: Britney Spears role on Will & Grace may stir up some controversy after all. The new mom will play a lesbian on her guest appearance on the show according to a report.
On the April 13 episode, in which a Christian network buys 'Out TV' where Sean Hayes' character Jack works Britney will play Jack's sidekick reports 'In Touch Magazine.'
She has experience playing gay on TV - remember that famous live prime time TV lesbian kiss with Madonna at the 2003 VMA's?
NBC issued a press release earlier this month touting Spears' guest appearance on the sitcom and at that point it appeared Brit would be playing a religious conservative TV personality who would co-host a talk show with Jack (Sean Hayes).
Spears' character at that point would emcee a cooking segment called "Cruci-fixin's."
That was quickly denied by the network but apparently scrapped as pressure from religious groups caused the network to re-think that particular plot line.
Britney as a lesbian would seem to fit the NBC sitcom a bit better.

"Extra" found out the mystery blonde is a French singer/actress named Sandy Lakdar. But she told "Extra" Thursday that there is nothing to the pictures; she's only met Kevin one time.
Federline isn't the only one walking around with a mystery blonde, it seems Nick Lachey has a new gal pal too.

Art Spears, one of Britney's cousins, believes that the star will ditch Kevin for the sake of her child.
"I don't think Britney and Kevin are going to stay together," Art told The Mirror. "Her son is her life and she will obviously do whatever is best for him - but does that involve Kevin? I don't think so.
"Britney is very much her own boss and she does not need anybody to tell her what to do like Kevin has been doing. She is definitely a Spears - that's her way. She's been with some guys with big money, but she didn't stay with them. She's got her own money, she's very independent.

Kevin and Shar tried to reassure Britney that one of the kids had puked on Kevin's clothes, so Shar was washing his duds, but Britney stormed off.
Kevin reportdly frantically chased her all the way home and eventually convinced her she had overreacted.

The couple are seeing Hollywood based therapist Irene Kassoria in a bid to cool down their rows.
The young parents were rumoured to have a had a string of rows concerning Federline’s party lifestyle in the months following the birth of their son Sean Preston.
A source told The Sun: "Britney needs to stop flying off the handle. Kevin needs to listen better and not run off to Vegas every time they fight.
"But their relationship is already much better."
Spears is currently enjoying a holiday in Hawaii with her son while Federline has been spotted with a blonde in Malibu.
They are obviously on the right track…
