Earvolution.com: Adult film star Jenna Jameson surpassed Britney Spears in web search popularity and doubled the number of searches for other music divas like Jessica Simpson, Beyoncé and Shakira.
There were 1,859,429 individual searches for the name Jenna Jameson in the month of February, compared with 1,529,227 for Britney Spears, according to Overture (http://inventory.overture.com). Jessica Simpson attracted 1,162,455 queries in February, Beyoncé Knowles had 1,097,843, Pamela Anderson had 755,904 and Shakira registered 644,901, according to Overture. Among adult actresses, Jenna was well ahead of other major stars such as Tera Patrick ( 179,982 ) and Briana Banks ( 185,751), the service said.

Thanks to Flurry84 at Denden-forums.com: "Representatives for the writers of the Britney Spears song “Do Somethin'” have written to the producers of K-pop star Lee Hyo-lee saying “parts” of the title song in Lee’s latest album “Get ya” are plagiarized. While this is not the first time the Korean pop industry has been accused of pilfering, it is the first time the copyright holder has formally complained. Universal Music Publishing Korea, which handles copyright of “Do Somethin'” here, said Thursday it sent a recording of “Get Ya” to the composers of the Spears song and the company that manages the copyright 15 days ago. In response, three out of the four composers agreed that the Lee song was “significantly influenced” by their own work “and there are some parts that constitute plagiarism,” Universal said.
There are no hard-and-fast criteria to decide what constitutes plagiarism in Korea, and any such allegations must be decided in court following a complaint by the author of the “original” work.
Universal said it will meet with the songwriters behind “Get Ya” to seek a settlement, but it did not rule out legal action. Murmurs about the startling similarity between the two songs arose as soon as Lee’s album hit the stores on Feb. 9. The artist herself denies anything other than temporary precedence of one work over the other, saying, “It’s just that Britney Spears did this funky style of music before me,” but insisted “Get Ya” was different in vocals, rhythm and tune."

Contactmusic.com: Britney Spears' husband Kevin Federline is racing ahead with plans to release his debut album this summer (06) - even though his first single has been a flop. The dancer's POPOZAO tune was released in January (06), but failed to chart. But that isn't stopping determined Federline from forging ahead with his pop career - he'll release his debut album, Playing with fire, in August (06) on an as-yet-unannounced label. Federline made his first promotional club appearance on Saturday (25MAR06) at Vision Club in Atlanta, Georgia. Rappers Usher, Nelly and Jazze Pha came out to support Federline, who will be making promotional appearances at nightclubs across the US. Ever-confident Federline says, "I'm excited about this album and am looking forward to continuing my promotional club tour in support of it and seeing the first-hand reaction of my fans listening to my songs for the first time. "My album is sure to set the dance floors across the world on fire."

TMZ.com: Three of Britney Spears' former bodyguards have sued Britney Brands, Inc. and Britney Touring, Inc., claiming they worked long hours and never received overtime pay.
The lawsuit, filed Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court, claims the guards worked between 12 and 16 hours a day and were often on call 24 hours a day, but never got anything but a straight salary.
The plaintiffs, Lonnie Jones, Randy Jones and Silas Dukes, say they were terminated last November and did not get their final paycheck.
The suit asks for compensation for unpaid wages and benefits, as well as penalties.

A night later, the couple went back to Tao for a special performance arranged by the Toxic singer, where a Cher impersonator sang "If I Could Turn Back Time" before "she" was joined by a midget Sonny Bono impersonator, and they both sang "I Got You Babe."
Both Spears and Federline "partied into the wee hours of the morning with Cristal, Jack Daniel's, etc.," reports The New York Post.

Postchronicle.com: Britney Spears finds herself embroiled in yet another nude photo scandal. According to a published report, an online casino, [more than likely GoldenPalace] has laid out a wopping $40,000 for naked pictures of Britney Spears.
According to the National Enquirer, the photos are Britney nude as a teenager, and could have been taken by at the time boyfriend Justin Timberlake.
The Enquirer is also reporting that a friend of Britney says the Pop-Tart star is furious.
GoldenPalace is notorious for this type of thing if it is in fact them who made the purchase.
