nationalledger.com: Poor Britney Spears - it seems as anytime she's out with her baby and a safety mishap occurs - there are snappers and video to document the event. That's probably one of the reasons Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are in Africa, but unfortunately for Brad that hasn't really helped.

It seems that Brad was photographed out for a bicyle ride in Langstrand, Namibia, with son Maddox Pitt-Jolie, 4, and daughter Zahara Pitt-Jolie, 16 months. Baby "Z" as the couple refers to the little one was without a helmet.
R&M explain:
Maddox, who wore a helmet, peddled a tricyle. Zahara, who did not, rode in a blue papoose strapped to Brad's back. That's a no-no, according Debra Smiley Holtzman, author of "The Safe Baby."
"[Zahara] needs a helmet and closed-toe shoes," Holtzman tells Us Weekly, which features photos of the outing in its new issue. "And I highly recommend toddlers ride in a child trailer pulled by a bike. It's more stable and secure."
Baby Talk senior editor Christina Vercelletto agreed.
Makers of the baby-pack "specifically say, 'Do not use while riding a bike,'" Vercelletto told us. "[It] will affect your balance. The safest place for her would be in a toddler bike seat."
Pitt's rep had no immediate comment on the scolding. Maybe the kiddie-caboose hasn't reached Namibia, where Pitt and Angelina Jolie are awaiting their first biological child.

The pregnant pop star already has her own fragrance range, and confesses the idea of becoming a full time mother and businesswoman appeals to her. Spears says, "Maybe one day. When little Sean Preston entered the world last September, the blessed event only intensified Spears' fame, as celebrity births do nowadays. But unlike, say, Angelina Jolie or Gwyneth Paltrow, Spears had a way of appearing maternally challenged. First it was the sight of baby on Mom's lap in the driver's seat. (OK, that was bad.) Then, the accidental tumble as he was lifted off a high chair. Next, the car seat facing the wrong way in the convertible.
Not good, the celebrity mommy patrol said. We'd never do that.
Until ... the almost-baby-dropping incident.
Suddenly _ and there's nothing scientific about any of this, mind you _ but suddenly, it seems fellow moms are doing something a bit surprising: defending Britney.

She appears to attack "chains" Federline has placed upon her and the "manipulation" she has suffered for being "naïve".
Her words also express her fears Federline will pass his bad behaviour onto their son Sean Preston and the unborn child Spears is expecting.
The poem suggests the singer has regained her confidence - "my crown" - and is ready to take decisive action.
Posted on Britney's site on Saturday, it reads: "No more chains/That you gave me/Enough of pain...
"Manipulation is the key/They screw it in/Because you're naïve...
"You come to me now/Why do you bother?/Remember the bible/The sins of the father/What you do/You pass down/No wonder why/I lost my crown.
"You don't see me now/You ask yourself why my crown is back/ And it's way too high/ For you to be in my presence/Especially my son/You should bow down/I've only just begun..."
The poem was mysteriously removed from Britneyspears.com within hours of being posted, without explanation.

The singer then posted that “my baby is my religion" and was roundly criticized for misspelling Kaballah on her web site.
Jeannette Walls goes deep in her online MSNBC column and gives 'The Scoop' on why she bailed. It appears the church was asking "her for money" a source tells Walls.

The pop star revealed on her Web site that she was ditching the trendy religion for motherhood. “I no longer study Kaballah,” she recently wrote, “my baby is my religion.” (“Kabbalah” has a variety of spellings that are considered acceptable.)
But her split from the trendy offshoot of Jewish mysticism may have more to do with the bottom line.
“She’s tired of the way [Kabbalah leaders] kept hassling her for money,” says a well-placed source. (Sidenote: insert K-Fed joke here).
“Actually, it was mostly her mother’s decision. They were always asking Britney to tithe [donate a percentage of her salary]. There was a lot of pressure, and finally her mom said, ‘Enough is enough’.”
Spears’ one-time mentor, Madonna, introduced her to Kabbalah and reportedly has donated millions of dollars to the Kabbalah Centre.

At a ceremony held by luxury jeweler Chopard, everything seemed to be going smoothly enough as John presented the Chopard Trophy to young Canadian actor Kevin Zegers, who co-starred in the film "Transamerica" with Felicity Huffman.
He the dropped several f-bombs and ended with, "If you saw 'Transamerica' ... I'm talking ... you "expletives deleted" photographers you should be shot, you should be all shot. Thank you."
After handing the award to a smiling Zegers, he added: "They are a nightmare," Reuters reports.

While being a celeb is likely difficult and dealing with the crush of photographers is likely an annoyance - suggesting violence is a bit of an outrage.

Britney's fans have been urging her to dump Federline and in fact have created a website called DivorceKevin.com, which includes a statement which says: "Are you sick of seeing the train wreck that is Britney and Kevin?"
Why does a divorce seem inevitable? Because the marriage was never real to begin with...it was just a picket-fence fantasy dreamed up by an immature young woman and an opportunistic and horny young man.

It was on Thursday that Britney was walking out of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Manhattan holding her 8-month-old son Sean Preston. In her attempt to navigate through the intrusive crowd and get to her car -- all the while shielding her baby from the flashing bulbs -- Britney accidentally lost her balance, almost losing her grip on the infant.
Britney's bodyguard helped her recover from her stumble and afterwards she went to FAO Schwarz Cafe to calm down, visibly shaken by the incident.
ET is also reporting that it has learned that she was so distraught by the persistent shutterbugs that she has left New York.

Britney criticized and blamed the paparazzi for her first "driving with baby" incident when she was photographed with her infant son on her lap in an SUV on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu.
Now ET asks the pertinent question: Did the paparazzi endanger Britney Spears' baby?
She has yet to blame them, but the gun comment would certainly give a strong hint that Britney and the paparazzi are on the outs right now.
