It has taken a big toll on their marriage because he's not always there for her and he used to be.”

What's more, Spears suspects that K-Fed is responsible for some of the leaks to the tabloids about the couple's private lives. “Britney knows Kevin tells his friends information, knowing they will leak it to tabloids,” a source close to Spears told Us. She has taken to not telling her hubby certain things — including that she was going to announce her pregnancy on David Letterman — for fear the info would be leaked to his buddies. “They sell stories for money. ... She is sick of him using her for them to profit.”

Page Six notes that Spears fled California and K-Fed for New York with her infant son, Sean Preston, where she had a disastrous time. Her mission - at least according to one report - was to announce her pregnancy 'officially' on The David Letterman Show' before K-Fed could cash in on the scoop.

In the city, Spears, pregnant with the couple's second child, was continuously followed by a pack of paparazzi who caught her waltzing into Tao restaurant at 9 p.m. with her cranky baby and a pal - and leaving an hour later when he proved inconsolable.
The next day, a tired Spears tripped on her pants and almost dropped her young son - all caught on camera - and was later snapped sobbing at a deli.
"She felt drained and bombarded," our source said. "She is not very comfortable in this city, and New Yorkers didn't make her feel welcome. She has said she will never come back unless she has to."

Hip-hop and R&B singer T-Pain is slated to produce tracks for the as-yet-untitled record, and MTV in the US confirmed that songwriter and producer Seam Garrett (responsible for songs for Usher, Ricky Martin, Beyonce and Jamie Foxx among others) has polished off three tracks. Also, R&B producer Jonathon Rotem is reported to be in the studio with Britters, working on tracks called ‘Everybody’ and ‘Who Can She Trust’.

Spears has had a troublesome time of late, porking up, with trash mags squealing that she ‘almost’ dropped her son Sean Preston and posting some poetry on her website which could be read as a cruel jab at her husband.
It’s been three years since she released her last studio album, ‘In The Zone’, which while still hitting number one in the US, has been her lowest charting and selling album. In 2004 was a Greatest Hits and in 2005 a remix album.
