contactmusic.com: The paparazzo who was allegedly struck by a car carrying BRITNEY SPEARS and her mum has launched a legal battle with the pop star's family. Snapper CULLEN REAVLEY claims he was left with serious injuries after he was struck by the Spears' SUV in June 2004, when the singer, her mother and sister were attempting to escape the paparazzi after leaving a pet store in Santa Monica, California. Reavley was among the photographers who rushed the vehicle, driven by Britney's mother LYNNE, as the family tried to make a hasty getaway. He claims he lost his balance, fell and Spears drove over his foot. Paramedics were called to the scene and Reavley was taken to hospital. In a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles yesterday (09JUN06), Reavley claimed he suffered injuries of the "head, neck, back, trunk and extremities," explaining they've caused him "mental, physical and nervous pain and suffering." The snapper insists his injuries will "result in permanent disability."

starmagazine: On June 6, Britney Spears got kicked out of the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel Hotel! During her latest jaunt away from home with baby Sean Preston and his hunky manny, Spears, 24, had been staying at the posh Dana Point, Calif., resort — less than a two-hour drive from home. But the hotel staff told the poptart they were booked for the rest of the week, so she'd have to leave! So she packed up her entourage and moved a mile away, to the St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort & Spa.
Brit registered at both hotels under the name of Perry Taylor, the manny. Kevin has been nowhere in sight, fueling speculation that the marriage is really over. At the St. Regis's luxe Spa Gaucin spa, Britney indulged in a $245 maternity facial (while Perry watched her son!), which included a head, neck and foot massage. "She had this huge smile on her face. I don't think she'd been massaged or touched in a while," says a spa source. "She really needed to be pampered."
